About Project LEDO

Our Mission

To provide access to science and technology programs for children from Black, Indigenous, People of Color and low-income communities.

We believe that every child should have the opportunity to learn and explore science, technology, engineering and mathematics programs (STEM for short!) in a fun and engaging way, regardless of their background or socio-economic status.

By offering these hands-on programs in the Portland, Oregon metro area, we aim to promote equity and diversity in STEM fields and inspire the next generation of innovators and leaders.

With our Back to School Supplies program, we serve underrepresented populations in both the Portland Metro area as well as marginalized communities around the globe.

It Takes A Village

Project LEDO understands the power of community. We rely on generous donations to enhance our abilities and deepen our impact while achieving our mission. We also draw strength from our collaborations with other nonprofits.
